There is a method behind what you receive.
And we think you should know what it is.
Your OYS Insight begins with two pieces of information that have been with you for most — or all — of your life:
Your date of birth.
And your name.
They don’t tell us the same thing.
Your date of birth provides one layer of the picture —
underlying patterns connected with the way you move through life,
the lessons and tensions you may repeatedly encounter, and the cycles or timing you may experience along the way.
Your name adds another layer.
Using the numerical values associated with the letters in your name,
OYS explores different aspects of expression and identity —
including how you may naturally express yourself,
what may drive you internally, and aspects of you that other people are more likely to encounter.
And that is where something interesting begins to happen.
Because the different parts don’t always agree.
What drives you internally may not be what people see.
The way you naturally operate may clash with the
role you’ve learned to play.
One part of you may want freedom while another wants certainty.
And sometimes the very thing you’ve spent years trying to change about yourself begins to make considerably more sense when you can see the whole pattern rather than one number in isolation.
These calculations draw on established principles from numerology —
a system that has been used in different forms for centuries to explore the symbolic relationship between numbers, identity and human experience.
That is where OYS starts.
It isn’t where it ends.
The numbers are the starting point.
They are not the conclusion.
OYS doesn’t take a single number and use it to define you.
It looks at the relationship between the different signals created by
your name and date of birth, and explores what those patterns may look like
when lived through an actual human being.
How you naturally approach life.
What may motivate you beneath the surface.
How you express yourself and how others may experience you.
Where different parts of you work beautifully together — and where they may pull in completely different directions.
The patterns you may have developed to adapt, protect yourself, belong or simply get through life.
And the places where what you know, value, feel and actually live may not yet be saying the same thing.
This is why an OYS Insight isn’t designed to put you into a type or hand you another label.
It gives you clues.
You bring the evidence.
“So, where does AI come in?”
AI is part of the generation process, but it isn’t the methodology.
The underlying framework, interpretation structure and relationships between the different signals have been deliberately developed by OYS.
AI helps us work with that framework and the information you provide to create a personalised report.
It doesn’t decide who you are.
Neither do we.
You remain the authority on you.
There will probably be things you recognise immediately.
There may be things that make considerably
more sense three days later.
You might disagree with something entirely.
Good.
An Insight isn’t asking you to believe it.
It is asking you to look.
Look at the patterns.
Look at your relationships.
Look at the choices you’ve made.
Look at what keeps repeating.
Look at the places where you’ve flourished — and the places where you’ve spent years trying to make yourself fit.
Then decide for yourself.
Because the purpose of OYS was never to give you another identity.
It was built to help you recognise the one that was already there.
