Goodbye Whatsapp – Hello Telegram!

It has been a long time coming. The day has come to finally uninstall Whatsapp. I had planned to do it at the end of the year but why wait? This is the question I could not answer. Now is as good a time as any.

I won’t lie, uninstalling Whatsapp is going to hurt but no risk no gain. Most of my contacts are on WhatsApp but I guess everyone has connect on a platform that resonates with their values.

On WhatsApp, as is the case with Facebook, I’m the product, the statistic, the number generating dollars for Facebook.

The future on WhatsApp looks bleak as Facebook makes a bigger push for profitability on the platform. We will see Adverts popping up as status updates. I’m definitely not hanging around for that. I’m getting here.

Today I take a bold step into the future on an Open Source, Free, Fast, User friendly platform that does not have Ads and is not bogged down by commercial interests.

If you decide Telegram find me @TendaiBruce
